Waterfall Bubinga Table
This is the design of a table I am planning for the lobby of "The Point" - The Center for Arts and Learning at CC Young. The top is from a very special Bubinga tree featured in a recent issue of The Woodworkers Journal. Each Rockler's store had a couple of pieces and I got this one from the Mesquite store.

End View
Each end will have a cut out of this Christ Figure taken from a large standing metal sculpture in the garden at CC Young. The end panel and the backing for the cutout are from Bubinga veneer.

Bubinga Board
This is the Bubinga board. It is almost 8 feet long by 52 inches wide and about 1 1/4 inches thick. The corner shows a small spot I sanded to see the grain.

This is a closeup of the Waterfall Bubinga, or waterfall kewazinga as it is also called. The grain is gorgeous.
